These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made from Thames C&C Ltd by both trade/business customers (B2B) and consumers (B2C). By purchasing goods in-store, online, or via our delivery/collection services, you agree to these terms.
Products and Information
We take reasonable care to ensure product descriptions and pricing are accurate. Packaging and branding may vary due to supplier changes and stock availability.
Pricing & VAT
Prices are shown exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.
VAT is applied at the prevailing rate.
Prices may change without notice.
Incorrect prices may be corrected within one working day.
Orders
Orders placed online or via app are offers to purchase. A binding contract forms when we dispatch goods or confirm collection.
We may refuse orders due to stock limits, payment issues, delivery constraints or suspicion of unlawful activity.
Delivery & Collection
Delivery dates are estimates only. We are not liable for delays outside our control.
Risk passes:
For consumers: when goods are delivered or collected
For trade customers: when goods are delivered, collected, or handed to your agent
Title for trade customers remains with us until full cleared payment is received.
Returns & Refunds
Consumers
Consumers have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Faulty goods may be refunded, repaired or replaced.
Consumers buying online may cancel within 14 days unless the goods are exempt, including:
Perishable food and drink
Sealed hygiene products once opened
Goods that deteriorate quickly
Change-of-mind returns are only accepted where legally required or if goods are eligible and unopened.
Trade Customers
Trade customers have no automatic right to cancel or return for convenience. Faulty or damaged goods will be handled at our discretion.
Faulty or Damaged Goods
Faulty goods must be reported within a reasonable time for consumers, and within one working day for trade customers for delivery/shortage issues.
We may request photos, batch codes or packaging for assessment.
Payment
Consumers pay at checkout unless otherwise agreed.
Trade customers may apply for credit accounts. Credit terms are discretionary. Late payments may incur interest under the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
No set-off or deduction is permitted without written approval.
Liability
Nothing excludes consumer rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or liability for fraud or personal injury caused by negligence.
For trade customers, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses including loss of profit, business interruption or loss of goodwill.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
